  This office is an inconsistent mess. Gwinnett County is so focused and concerned with being the best in everything, and yet they employ people who are incompetent to facilitate that success. My first visit to this office was two weeks ago, where, upon entry, I was given no information of any required forms, was not asked if I had made an appointment for a road test, and was turned away by an employee who said that I could come back at any time to take the test if I obtained my certificate of school enrollment, no appointment necessary. Two weeks later, I return to the office with all required forms to be informed this time that an appointment is required with no exception for any reason. Also at this visit, they confirmed that I had all forms needed in order to take a road test before making me wait for thirty minutes like my last visit. All of this should have been done the first time. The lack of consistency and competency of the employees and of the entire office is humiliating to "world-class" Gwinnett County. I am absolutely livid at wasting my time, effort and excitement to get my driver's license at this sorry excuse for a Department of Driver Services. I pray for anyone who attempts to find success at this office.

  Truly I'm so displeased, to the point I never thought I could get like this. Previously I went their in aiming to get my permit but I didn't have my certificate of enrollment. My time the first time there was okay, and lady said all I had to bring was the certificate of enrollment to get my permit. Keep in mind she said ALL I HAD TO DO WAS BRING THIS ENROLLMENT PAPER AND I WILL BE GOOD TO GO AS SHE COULD JUST PULL IT UP. When I get their the second time in hopes of getting my permit the lady was nothing but rude and incompetent. Saying I had to bring everything with me, ON TOP OF ALL THAT WHEN SHE ASKED ANOTHER WORKER FOR CLARIFICATION AND SHE SAID THAT I HAD TO BRING EVERYTHING AGAIN WAS THE SAME LADY WHO SAID ALL I HAD TO BRING WAS THE ENROLLMENT SHEET. Granted I should have brought everything just in case but this communication even lack of communication between the customers truly pisses off.
